The website quebecbeautynetwork.com (Quebec Beauty Network) is an online directory that connects the public with aesthetic clinics and professionals in Quebec. The French version is available at reseauesthetique.com.

This page describes the personal information we process when you use the site, and how to reach us about it. It is provided in connection with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.

Who is responsible

Operation of the site and processing of the information collected there are the responsibility of Quebec Beauty Network / Réseau Esthétique. For questions, access, correction or withdrawal of consent, write to us via the Contact us page.

What information is collected

We collect only what is needed for the purposes below:

“Advertise with us” form: first name, last name, email, phone, city, selected services and requested package, to process a listing or visibility request.
Contact form: name, email, city and message.
Comments on a listing: name, email, city and comment text, when a visitor leaves a review.
Claim a listing: information provided to indicate that a listing belongs to you.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and timestamps, via audience-measurement and abuse-prevention tools.

Searching for a professional by region or city does not require an account and does not require us to identify you.

Purposes

display and operate the directory;
answer your messages and process listing requests;
limit spam and automated submissions (reCAPTCHA);
understand site use and improve content (traffic statistics).

We do not use this information to sell contact lists to third parties.

Third-party providers

Some features rely on providers outside Quebec, including:

Google Analytics, for traffic statistics;
Google reCAPTCHA, to limit automated form submissions;
StatCounter, for complementary audience measurement.
